V.SHIPS GROUP PROFILE

V.Ships is the world´s largest provider of ship management services to a fleet of over 1000 vessels encompassing most ship types. It is an international company with 60 offices employing 1,600 office and over 24,000 sea staff through more than 300 Clients. The seagoing staff are recruited through a network of recruitment offices.

In addition to the core ship management activities, a broad range of maritime services including crewing, leisure, financial, insurance, consulting, commercial and agency services are provided.


V.Ships provides services to clients through three operating divisions:

• V.Ships Ship Management: provides the cargo ship industry with personalised service, delivered through a network of 14 management offices offering unrivalled crew resources, purchasing power, IT, risk, safety & quality systems and experience of every vessel type.

• V.Ships Leisure: is the cruise, ferry and super-yacht industries´ leading provider of third party services, encompassing deck & engine management, hotel management, manning, travel, marine planning, new building supervision, charter and sale and purchase services and consultancy. V.Ships Leisure currently provides services to 140 passenger vessels including 50 yachts managed by Fraser Yachts Worldwide which is owned jointly with Azimut / Benetti.

• V.Ships Marine Services encompasses a diverse range of shipping services, including agency, contracting services, consulting, repair, insurance, average adjusting and marine travel.

V.Ships is a privately-owned company that has expanded significantly in recent years through organic and (latterly) inorganic growth including the acquisition of Celtic Marine in 1998, Acomarit in 2001, Martinoli and BNavi in 2005.

The current ownership structure is 50/50 Exponent Private equity and management (comprised of approximately 100 Directors).
